Performs processing functions related to testing including verification, accessioning, aliquoting, processing and batching send out testing, adding/cancelling tests, distributing, storing and disposing of specimens.Ĥ. Supports activities related to laboratory testing (phlebotomy, specimen collection, computer order entry and specimen processing) to ensure accurate result reporting and quick turn-around time.ģ. Demonstrates knowledge and ability to evaluate and select proper collection methods for age specific patients.Ģ. Is responsible for correct patient identification, specimen labeling and documentation. Performs venipuncture and capillary punctures to obtain adequate samples. This position reports to the Phlebotomy Services Coordinator, or the Manager Laboratory, or the Laboratory Supervisor, or the Director Lab Operations.ġ. ![]() Positions supporting Patient Service Centers and client offices are required to provide phlebotomy services to these locations as determined by department needs and may be assigned to different locations and/or different schedules without a 30-day notice. Under the direction of phlebotomy management, performs diverse support functions including phlebotomy to ensure accurate test results and a quick turnaround time. $1,500 sign on bonus available for full time roles, $750 sign on bonus for part time.
